Description of Swamp Blues

So-called for the swampy sound of its lazy Louisiana rhythms, Swamp Blues was born with harmonica and guitar great Slim Harpo. Incorporating funky grooves from New Orleans R&B, plus echo and reverb effects on electric guitar, Swamp Blues range from the slower styles of Lonesome Sundown and Lightnin' Slim to the rollicking sound of harmonica great Lazy Lester.
