Jon is definitely older. Long gone are the boyish pipes of Slippery When Wet and New Jersey. As with Detroit's Bob Seger and fellow Garden State icon Bruce Springsteen, a little frog now hops about the back of his throat. Of course, this just enhances the U2-meets-America's-heartland vibe the group introduced on its last album, 2007's Lost Highway. But despite Bon Jovi's knack for changing with the times, they will never surrender their love of arena-worthy anthems. The Circle is filled with them.

Bon Jovi are billing their 11th album as a back-to-rock move, following on the heels of
2007's country-tinged Lost Highway, which featured duets with Music City stars. It does
