Cirque du Soleil

Alegria is the name of one of the many traveling shows performed by the vaunted acrobatic ensemble from Quebec. Although you don't get to see the performers pulling off incredible physical feats and the gorgeous sets that come with a Cirque show, the music itself -- a pastiche of world, folk and classical -- translates all of the humor and pathos in the performance.
