Feel like a Don? Slipping on this album is like walking straight into the part - tough guys on horns, shrugged shoulders from the strings and hard luck from the unsympathetic woodwinds. To listen to Nino Rota's hard Neapolitan jazz from The Godfather, especially that trumpet, is to understand why Brando never paid to eat in an Italian restaurant after 1972.
