Collie Buddz

The breakout reggae single of 2007 comes from a very unlikely source: a white guy born in New Orleans and raised in Bermuda (which he cutely calls "Bermy"). But, aside from the odd pedigree, everything you'd expect is here: the sunburned one-drop rhythm that points toward roots reggae, the pleas for the legalization of "the sweet, sweet sensi" (hey, his name is Collie Budz) and the heavy island patois.
