Common

The often-overlooked '92 debut from the Chicago emcee now known simply as Common, this album is noticeably less "intellectual" or "conscious" than his later work. It's still unquestionably tight. Fresh production and witty rhyme schemes abound, and it's nice to hear him dropping some punchlines instead of being so serious all the time.
