Cowboy Troy

Whale tails? "Dope lyrics"? Drum machines? Cowboy Troy continues to blaze trails with his disarmingly visionary, if occasionally corny, stylistic fusions. Since mainstream country radio can't be convinced to give a damn about Troy, these big-thump remixes of "Hick Chick" seem to return the sentiment -- they're unapologetic party music for the truly urban cowboys and cowgirls. The four negligible variations here are mostly utility tracks for the (country) club DJ, but, even if it never hits FM, Troy's rippin' guitar and booty bass country is sure to boom from a half-ton pickup near you.
