Rhapsody

Vibraphonist Dave Pike uses Cal Tjader's Latin jazz template on this early 1960s party disc. A percussive rather than lyrical improviser, Pike's in good form, and he's joined by flutist Hubert Laws, pianist Chick Corea, and Tjader cohort Willie Bobo.
