David Sylvian

Sylvian stepped away from a successful pop career to create a highly personal, often diffuse mix of acoustic and electronic music. A must for David Sylvian fans and a great introduction for newcomers, this 2-disc set combines Sylvian's solo songs, old Japan numbers, several rarities and collaborations with other artists (most often Ryuichi Sakamoto).

David Sylvian is best remembered as the pale-faced, lipstick-wearing, bleached-hair
frontman for New Romantic pioneers Japan. These art-rock pretty boys were the
prototype for the Duran Duran revolution, but in 1982, as Japanmania peaked, the group
