Songs from Dean and Britta's Back Numbers get remixed and remodeled in an appropriately late-night manner. The beats, blips and boinks work well here, and the mixologists (including Sand Pebbles, My Robot Friend and producer Tony Visconti) don't obscure the dreamy vibe of the originals, even when they change the songs considerably. As a bonus, you get Dean and Britta doing a role-reversal of the famous Blowup movie scene. These two are so happening that they should write self-help books for their doughy, slovenly indie rock brethren.
