If the career of this often-remixed RnB singer has been unfairly darkened by Whitney's shadow, Deborah Cox's dedication to Dinah Washington proves that she's a first rate vocalist on her own terms. Performing live under the direction of bandleader Rob Mounsey, Cox gives a hard-swinging reading of "All Of Me" and some confident interpretations of classic Shore blues. Even so, the best stuff might be saved for the classic ballad, "What A Difference A Day Makes."
