Devin The Dude

The production is slow-cooked funk, schmaltzy prog-hop, southern fried soul, and a little breezy chronic G-Funk. Devin, meanwhile, is best described as a "cool-like fellow / laid-back mellow, smokin' out type Dude." They could carve that on his tombstone and he'd probably be satisfied, but Devin is also a great emcee -– funny, witty, raunchy and, most of all, keenly self-aware. Sure, greatest hits comps like these always stir debates among the faithful, but this is a decent place to get on the bus.
