Freedom of Choice is the band's most popular record; it features "Whip It," the song for which Devo is best known. The album shows them shifting their uniquely mechanical, witty songwriting into a pop vein that would appeal to larger audiences (and record label execs). The music is precision tight and the lyrics are at their sharpest. This remastered edition features a number of concert performances, which include key cuts from the album.
