Diamond Rio

This companion to Diamond Rio's 1997 compilation, Greatest Hits, is loaded with 13 of their best country songs, four of which are brand new. The harmonious and humorous "Redneck Love Gone Bad" and the orchestral "Over You" are standouts, while "In God We Still Trust" follows in Dubya's footsteps in the attempt to fuse church and state. The similarly sappy "God Only Cries" would make a great theme song to any of those television shows where old white people and angels coexist in the same house.
