Donal Lunny

What you don't know about Donal Lunny can hurt you. This man revived more traditional Irish music than your mother. Name the band -- Bothy, Planxty, Moving Hearts -- Lunny was in it. And he introduced the Balkan bouzouki (which is in the mandolin family) to Ireland. This collection doesn't focus enough on his guitar/bouzouki work, but it's a good place to start.
