Eden Atwood

Maybe the fact that Atwood's voice sounds decades older than her years has kept this beautiful and charismatic vocalist from major stardom. Regardless of the reason why she hasn't hit the big time, this is another strong album of shopworn classics and neglected standards from a major talent. Her stripped-down, dreamy drift through "Moon River" is a highlight.
