Eisley

Opening with a pair of live tracks and an EP-exclusive ballad, and tacking on a pair of a non-album scraps, Eisley presents a striking, oddly cohesive patchwork of material. The live recordings are well-practiced and intensely affecting, thick with the siblings' dense harmonies and atmospheric, barn-big distorted guitars. The title track comes last, though it's hard to believe it was a leftover from Combinations -- the song is one of the band's most captivating singles.
