Elvis Perkins

Elvis Perkins is the son of celebrities--actor Anthony "Psycho" Perkins and photographer Berry Berenson--and the genes were certainly passed on. Part Leonard Cohen, part Cat Stevens with a lot of Nick Drake thrown in, he has an agitated melancholy that's all his own--something that comes across on Ash Wednesday his debut album. He talks to us about his nomadic life style, the importance not boring oneself (or others) and then tries to convince the interviewer that he is not hung-over. He isn't?
