Metalheads will need no introduction to this LP, but if you're new to the scene, it's a great bridge. The band was already one of the best in the biz when they softened it up on this 2001 release, giving those not inclined toward metal a chance to become diehard fans. Don't judge it by its anomalous first and last tracks; like a Tootsie Pop, the best stuff's in the middle.
