Rhapsody

The title tune was already a hit for Garner when he re-recorded it here for the first time (his improvisational chops were so strong that every version is different). A wonderful album, the pianist's dramatic stops, starts, and rhythmic turns are perfectly illustrated on "Don't Worry 'Bout Me," while his relentlessly funky drive comes barreling home on "I Wanna Be a Rug Cutter."
