Eva Ayllon

Ayllon's vocal prowess is beyond reproach, but this release leaves a little to be desired in the production department, relying on the kind of overproduced, soft jazz schlock that's been ruining salsa and tango albums recently. What the album lacks in instrumental spontaneity or edge, Ayllon valiantly compensates for with a rich, honeyed yet commanding vocal delivery.
