Going independent has allowed Fat Joe to collaborate with RnB artists because he wants to, not for contrived reasons like needing to make a radio song or fulfilling the label's wishes. Unfiltered, he and thugged-out crooner J. Holiday swear by the Mafia's code of silence when it comes to women who cheat on their significant others with them. Although the pianos and soft drums from producers Grind Music are lusher than what Joe's been spittin' on recently, the overall message is still gangsta.
