Fat Joe

After a brush with the mainstream following the hit single "Lean Back" and a well-publicized beef with 50 Cent, Fat Joe settles into his role as "ghetto celebrity" on Me, Myself and I. "Damn" recycles the propulsive beat to "Safe to Say" while throwing a few (largely incoherent) jabs at 50 Cent: "You ain't even a great actor/ Matter of fact, you is a great actor." Um, okay. Nearly every song reuses the usual gangster raps themes: honor, loyalty, greed and violence.
