Throaty screaming, chugging guitars, metallic moshes and of course pretty, super-melodic choruses. Lyrics sketch out the problems faced by the average Long Island teenager, often with harmonized Thin Lizzy leads draped over everything. Emo gets weirder (and smarter) every day. Or maybe what From Autumn to Ashes plays is better described as post hard-core. Either way, the kids can't get enough of it. And who can blame them? It's like Emperor and Mandy Moore at the same time.
