Reviews
The individual parts of the livetronica trio dubbed Future Rock are beginning to work like a well-oiled machine on their sophomore release, Gears. It features several tracks of layered, synth-infused head trips with a tighter emphasis on song structure than their debut album, Sugar Coated Bullets. This melding of rock and electronica brings the dance beats and samples together with organic instruments (even a cowbell makes a few tracks) for a sonic trek to infinity and beyond.
