Gene Autry

Back in the 1930s and 1940s when the discourse of young men was peppered with such expressions as, "Say, that's real swell!" or "Look at the gams on those dames!" Gene Autry was keeping it real by singing timeless, romantic cowboy songs. This collection only runs 18 ditties deep, but campfire sing-alongs like "Yellow Rose of Texas" and "Tumblin' Tumbleweeds" helped further the mythos of the singing cowpoke. "Ole Faithful" is a previously unreleased gem enveloped in lush, cinematic instrumentation.
