Description

If it's plugged in, it's electric. Although Electric Blues is generally hallmarked by the use of electric guitar, it is also marked by the electric bass as well as a pickup (a device that amplifies acoustic instruments) slapped to a stand-up bass or an acoustic guitar. Anyone from post-war harmonica wailer Little Walter to electric guitar men Smokey Wilson and Eddie Kirkland are considered part of the Electric Blues tradition.
