Description
Passed down to from generation to generation, children's folk songs include "This Old Man," "Peas Porridge Hot," "Old MacDonald," and "B-I-N-G-O." An important part of learning language and even motor skills (you need synchronized hand/mouth coordination to make it through "I'm A Little Tea Pot" or "Itsy Bitsy Spider"), sing-alongs are highly repetitive by nature and usually require an enthusiastic child to be enjoyed. However, many sing-along folk numbers, from the tender "Inch Worm" to Woody Guthrie's once-controversial "This Land Is My Land," have something to offer people in any age bracket.
