Instrumental Pop

Instrumental Pop is a catch-all category under the easy listening umbrella for music composed without lyrical or vocal embellishment. Instrumental Pop tunes are usually short, traditionally structured songs composed for keys, sax, or anything -- even the pan-flute. The main component of Instrumental Pop is its relatively conservative sound -- don't expect any shocks or surprises, just soft, soothing pop. Instrumental Pop includes the synthesizer work of John Tesh, the easy jazz of Kenny G and the soft-focus work of Mantovani.
