GSH's only album of the 1990s makes one wish he were a more active artist. The multi-part "The Other Side" is a heartbreaking portrait of an addict's sense of confusion, self-loathing and isolation, while "Give Her a Call, a love song to a hopeful lady who's blindly waiting for the narrator to get his life together. It may be GSH's most personal song.
