Group 1 Crew

Not to be confused with 1 Nation Crew of the late 1990s, but with just as much energy, Group 1 Crew added nine fresh tracks to their debut EP for this self-titled full-length. What the collection lacks in variety it makes up for in optimism with a consistently playful, summery, clap-happy set of trip-hop. Even the attempted ballads have a spring in their musical step, like the irresistible flow of "Come Back Home," a b-flat type groove that shares top spot with the single, "Love Is A Beautiful Thing."
