Helmet

The revamped Helmet is an excruciatingly loud and suffocatingly tight live band, as proven by this set taken from 2006's Warped Tour. While Page Hamilton's vocal delivery remains mostly flatlined at a grim, tight-lipped drawl, his guitar is as impassioned as ever, and the rest of the band matches his musical fury with ear-turning gusto. Featuring four tunes taken from Helmet's lean, mean early days and the brand new "Brand New" (where Hamilton finally lets the vocals rip), this hard and heavy rundown is not to be treated lightly.
