Henry Hall

About

Henry Hall (1656-1707) was an English composer known for church music and secular songs, dialogs and catches. He became the organist of Exeter as a teen and held the same post at the cathedral in Hereford starting in 1688. When he died in 1707, he was succeeded by his son, who was also named Henry.
