The multimedia experimentations of Hexstatic come from the electronic world of the UK-based label Ninja Tune. On their full length audio/visual album Rewind, their video "Deadly Media" incorporates visual sampling of Japanese and American news anchors layered on top of Electro beats. A surprisingly pleasing sound of balanced chaos is the result of downtempo combined with eclectic digital sounds (such as audio from video games). Stuart Waren Hill and Robin Brunson, the head creators behind this project, have worked with other space cadets such as David Byrne and Ninja Tune's Coldcut. As they say themselves, they are "self proclaimed media whores are available to visualise and amplify your partay."
