Their rookie album for Century Media Records - the third label of their career - finds a clearer-minded Himsa finally grasping the heavy metal sound they were always reaching for. Working with Strapping Young Lad's Devin Townsend on vocal production, venerated frontman John Pettibone brings a stronger, more authentic, guttural force to their newly stripped down, tighter and faster melodic thrash repertoire. Add in the return of original guitarist Sammie Curr to the fold, and Himsa arrive menacingly reborn in 2007 with Summon In Thunder.
