This Midwestern group dropped its full-length in 1970 on the strength of the lead single, "Vehicle." The funky, horn-heavy sound with classic rock overtones was like an amalgamation of Blood, Sweat and Tears and Creedence Clearwater Revival. (Imagine the mustaches!) It's good-time long-haired rock for the barefoot brigade.

The title of a mildly enjoyable schlock single--which somehow got little FM play even though Jim Peterik does an amazing David Clayton-Thomas imitation--is also the title of a properly schlocky follow-up LP. Twelve inches is more schlock than anyone needs. Quiz: Who composed "Symphony for Eleanor"? (Grade - C-)
