Idlewild

Melodic, literary and forceful, Idlewild's fourth album finds the Scottish group satisfying older fans with their energized, buzzing punk-pop on tracks such as "A Modern Way Of Letting Go." They also adopt an approach closer in feel to the alt rock of Coldplay or R.E.M. on the epic "American English."
