Jarvis Cocker

It's an old story: eccentric Englishman gets a divorce and releases a damaged rock album. Further Complications plays almost like an ode to the different rock styles of Jarvis Cocker's youth (including the Bolan/Bowie-era glam sound that Pulp sometimes recalled). Some tunes, such as "Pilchard" and "Homewrecker!", are all about the raw band sound, while others, like "Leftovers," "Slush" and the disco number "You're in My Eyes," show off Cocker's songwriting prowess.
