Jazmin Lopez is an up-and-coming singer of the regional Mexican music called Duranguense -- a career she's been preparing for most of her life in one way or another. Growing up in a small Texas town, she took piano lessons and studied singing with her mother from the age of four. It paid off: she's been performing with big-name artists like Los Tigres del Norte since the age of 15, and she released her solo debut in 2009. Meanwhile, she keeps busy hosting MTV Tr3s' showcase of regional Mexican music, ReMexa.
