Jefferson Airplane

Covering Jefferson Airplane's first four albums, this collection gives a good overview of what the psychedelic pioneers were up to between Takes Off and Volunteers -- which was gobbling LSD like it was M&Ms. The best results ("White Rabbit," "Somebody To Love," Jorma's guitar playing) are all here. Despite the album title, the worst results are not -- those would come years later, with the '80s, the Starship, and "We Built This City."
