Dove's 2004 Artist of the Year says "thanks for the honor" with the release of Restored. Having proved himself, Camp's free to stretch his wings, and he does so while maintaining his edge. With full guitars and some orchestral accompaniment, the rock here is lighter than on his first two LPs; it's modest, melodic and shrewdly consistent.
