Jesse Winchester

Winchester is most famous for his prodigious songwriting, from "Brand New Tennessee Waltz" to "Yankee Lady." Over the decades, however, the songwriter has released a string of solid country-folk albums featuring his quivering high tenor. Love Filling Station, Winchester's first album since 1999's Gentleman of Leisure, continues this trend. Though the production recalls a wedding band demo, the album contains some true gems, including the soul-kissed country waltz "Bless Your Foolish Heart."
