Jim Ringer

About

Jim Ringer was a little known but well-respected folk singer-songwriter active during the 1970s. Perhaps best known for "The Bramble and the Rose," a duet with his wife Mary McCaslin which came out in 1978, Ringer's career never reached the heights of McCaslin's (they eventually split up). He nevertheless has a solid catalog of countrified folk music to offer, with the emphasis placed on country.
