Joe Jackson

This one was as big in Jackson's homeland as his debut was in the U.S. The title track and "On Your Radio" streamline the guitar squall of punk but keep the fury, "It's Different For Girls" is among his most compelling tunes while "Geraldine and John" defines the very aesthetic of New Wave. Two sets of original material in one year – phew.
