Do you think director and composer John Carpenter knows he was a huge influence on Detroit techno, electro and Italian disco? Furthermore, does he even know German producer Ralf Hennings released a killer remix of "The End," from the flick Assault on Precinct 13, in 1983? This, of course, leads to more questions: is Carpenter (who is a god, by the way) aware of the fact that this here 12-inch is now a stone-cold classic and top-shelf collector's item?
