John Frusciante

Not the freak-out that was Frusciante's first record, Niandra LaDes, but the one-time Chili Pepper is still putting out music that's more interesting than anything his old band has done in years. There's always a spot amid the "pop" of his songs where you start to feel a little uncomfortable. That's a good thing.
