John Popper

Featuring the somewhat baffling combo of former Blues Traveler John Popper and DJ Logic, the John Popper Project sounds pretty much exactly as you'd imagine. Popper's potent vocals and cascading harmonica run laps around Logic's downtempo beatscapes while bassist Tad Kinchla and drummer Marcus Bleecker add the groovy heft of a super bad rhythm section. It all makes for some unusual, intriguing music that spans genres and comes off like a post-modern basement jam session.
