Jonathan Singleton and the Grove

About

After years of releasing music independently, Jonathan Singleton got his big break when a song he co-wrote, "Watching Airplanes," hit in a huge way for Gary Allan. Not only was the song awarded a 2008 ASCAP Country Music Most Performed Song Award, it also won Singleton and co-writer Jim Beavers a number of prestigious awards for songwriting. And when another song, "Don't," hit the charts with Billy Currington, the doors came crashing down for Singleton and his band, the Grove. Produced by renowned hitmaker Dann Huff, Jonathan Singleton and the Grove released their debut single for Universal South in early 2009.
