Taking lyrical concepts from Marie Antoinette and the French Revolution, married pair G. Amber Valentine and G. Edgar Livengood follow up their critically acclaimed Relapse debut with long-winded, thunderous ferocity. Consisting of 21 tracks, some parts charmingly sweet and some parts monstrously harsh, the raw intensity of the '90s-born alt styles throughout make for an intense roller coaster of a listening experience.
