Though this is ostensibly a hip-hop album, Britt's House music pedigree is on full display throughout. There's an electro elasticity and lilt in standout tracks "Next Plateau" and "Transcend" that is absent from your run-of-the-mill indie hip-hop record, while "Che Che Sara" and his collaboration with Quasimoto, "Spaces," are textured with the producer's exceptional keyboard work. The album's dreamy, abstract veneer may turn off some, but this disk will appeal to those who like their rap more experimental and nuanced.
